The Earth-bound incarnation of Jessica Sharpe is a transcendental surrealist artist whose work explores the endless going through painting and installation art. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, she earned her BFA (Painting and Art History) at the University of Cincinnati in 2003, and later completed her MFA (Studio Art) at Syracuse University in 2010 as the recipient of a full tuition and living stipend as the School of Art Fellow.
Jessica's professional experience includes maintaining an active studio practice in New York City, exhibiting her work, and teaching visual art across a wide range of educational settings—from college-level courses to private art enrichment. She has served as an adjunct professor, guest lecturer, and dedicated volunteer for various arts organizations.
Now based in Jacksonville, Florida, Jessica continues her daily studio practice while raising her children and meditating on eternal truths. She is also a member of Squonk Works, a creative collaboration with her husband, a landscape architect.
