Jessica Sharpe builds landscapes as if they were evidence from another reality, working across painting, sculptural installation, and emerging technologies. Her material language moves between layered oil painted surfaces, physical objects, and digital interventions, allowing images to shift between the tangible and the immaterial. Moving from terrestrial environments to stellar nurseries, her practice draws on memory, myth, fringe science, and theories that complicate conventional ideas of time and reality. Uncanny forms surface within these landscapes like fragments of evidence, suggesting buried histories, anomalous events, and phenomena that resist a stable explanation.
